Shane Talks '99: May 19th, 1999

The "Star Wars" prequels began on this date in 1999, and Shane dives deep into what it meant to him as an employee. He tells stories about the employee screening, waiting in line for toys, and cosplaying as Darth Maul. The financials are looked at, and then Shane wraps up by discussing how a viewing in 2012 changed his opinion on the film.

Shane Talks - Episode 68: Blockbuster Summer Memories

 It Summertime, and the guys are joined by Jason Richardson to take a look at the big blockbuster movies that have been released in the past.  Starting with "Jaws" and moving into the 80s and 90s, everyone gives their perspectives on the movies they were aware of as big summer hits, while telling some of their memories.  Some summer gets more love than others, like 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, and OF COURSE, Shane has to go through all the Summer of 1999 releases.  They wrap up by taking a look at the films coming out in the summer of 2022, and talking about the ones they are interested in.

Shane Talks '99: May 7th, 1999

 It's time for the Summer Blockbusters!  In 1999, the summer season kicked off with one of the best Action-Adventure films of this generation.  It's "The Mummy" and it has an interesting path to completion.  Starting in 1987, Shane works his way through the various writers and directors who were attached throughout its history, until Universal finally delivered the epic final version of the film released in theatres.

 It's the third annual Shane Talks Holiday Special!  May the Fourth be With You in 2022!

There's lots of topics that the guys discuss this year.  From Shane's Funko Pop happiness, to Jason's Community Polls on Facebook, to the Disney+ series we've gotten in the last year and those that are coming up in the future.  Shane then reads some of the plot points from the leaked "Duel of Fates" script, and the guys end the episode by going off topic and bragging about their recent domination at a "Friends" Trivia Event.
