Shane Talks '99: March 31st, 1999

 It's a WEDNESDAY in 1999, and we have two amazing films released on this Wednesday.  One of them is a groundbreaking science fiction film that changed practical camerawork forever, and Shane discusses those visual improvements to the world of film.  Then, we have a modern day update to William Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew" - in the teen romantic comedy "10 Things I Hate About You".  Shane discusses the cast, his obsession with Julia Stiles, and then goes deep into the music that makes this film such an amazing and memorable classic.

Shane Talks '99: March 26th, 1999

 It's another triple-release weekend in 1999.  This week, Shane discusses how he was never age-appropriate to watch "Doug's 1st Movie".  Shane then looks at how ahead-of-its-time and prophetic "ED TV" turned out to be, before finishing the episode with a look at the young and hip cast of "The Mod Squad".

Shane Talks - Episode 65: The '22 Oscars

 Ben Affleck, "Brokeback Mountain", and Best Pictures are some of the topics we get into this week.  Because Shane hasn't seen as many nominees as he would like to; the guys have invited Jason B. Richardson and Chris Schneider onto the show to discuss their feelings on the major nominees; who they want to win; and who they think will actually that home the prize.  They educated Shane and Jason on who has the Oscar Buzz currently, and all of the different shifts we've seen during the Oscars season.

Shane Talks '99: March 19th, 1999

 Shane takes a look at another Trifecta of Genres released this week in 1999.  First up, is the horror-disaster that became "Ravenous".  Shane discusses how this is one film that he would enjoy seeing a remake of.  Then, it's Clint Eastwood directing himself in the "too long" film "True Crime".  Finally, Shane goes into a lot of detail about his love for the Rom-Com "Forces of Nature" starring Ben Affleck and Sandra Bullock.

Shane Talks - Episode 64: Identical Plot Twins

 That plot is their Identical Plot Twin!  Shane and Jason take a look at a list of movies that share similar plots, and break down some of the suggestions from the Facebook Community.  It's a short script; so to add some more content, the guys discuss "The Adam Project" and "The Batman".

Shane Talks '99: March 12th, 1999

 Shane has a trifecta of genres to cover this week.  Starting with the angsty-teen-horror flick "The Rage: Carrie 2".  Next up is a look at the disappointment of Marky Mark and Chow Yun-Fat in "The Corruptor".  Finally, it's a hard look at "Wing Commander" which Shane argues is "Top Gun" in Space.  A hot-hot pilor shows up and has confrontations with the other hot shot pilot, then he begins to flirt with his female superior.  His best friend and sidekick is a wise-cracking goofball.  And there is a lot of "inverted" talk throughout the film. Sex, Corruption, and Space - just another week in 1999.

Shane Talks '99: March 5th, 1999

 Shane takes a look at three wildly different films this week.  First up, is more of the Late 90s British Invasion, with Guy Ritchie's first feature length film: "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels".  Following that crime drama, Shane talks about his enjoyment watching "Analyze This" and praises Harold Ramis' direction of the cast.  Finally, Shane takes a deep look into everything involving "Cruel Intentions" - from the amazing cast to the soundtrack.

Shane Talks - Episode 63: Soundtracks of Our Lives

 We're taking a minute to slow down the start of the show this week, as two friends close to the show have both been dealing with some serious health issues, and we wanted to address them and send them some love and support.  Included in the episode, Shane sits down for a one-on-one conversation with Danielle Joy, letting her tell her story of her recent health issues.  Danielle then gets the show back on track by telling Shane her five favorite soundtracks, which then allows Jason and Shane to finish the episode talking about their Top Fives, and the other soundtracks listed by members of the Facebook group.
