Shane Talks - Episode XVIII: Signal Hasn't Stopped

 September 30, 2005 saw the theatrical release of the film "Serenity", a continuation of the cancelled television series "Firefly".  On the fifteenth anniversary, Shane and Jason look back over the entire series, how badly Fox ruined the broadcast, and how beloved the characters became and were able to finish their story in a feature film.  There are guest interviews with Big Mike Owens, Tyler Berry, and Jae Hampton who all share their own personal experiences with various episodes and characters who have impacts on their lives.  It's a love letter to the crew of best ship in the 'verse.

Shane Talks - Episode XVII: I Was Not SEVENTEEN

 This week, Jason and Shane look at about forty films that are all Rated R.  The majority of the films were mentioned by members of the community as films they say before they were seventeen.  They discuss their memories of seeing the films and how they feel about showing them to their kids, and at what age they would consider it okay.  It's also an interesting look back on what earned R Ratings in the 1980s.

Shane Talks - Episode XVI: Critically Foolish

 Shane and Jason asked for people to take screenshots of movies they loved on Rotten Tomatoes, that got less than 25% from the critics reviews.  There are some gems in this group - amazing movies that obviously critics were not ready for.  There are also some really, really bad movies - that the critics were right about, but people still really enjoy.  Shane drinks some Sun King beer, while Jason enjoys his favorite fall brew, then they discuss their respective football teams and how they feel about this upcoming season and their new quarterbacks.

 This week, Shane is joined by Jason L. Maier and Evan Miller to discuss Jay and Silent Bob and their evolution through Kevin Smith's films.  Then, they tangent off to talk about the non Jay and Silent Bob films in Kevin's career.
